PROJECT DETAILS

Title : Pneumatically Controlled Mobility Aid For Physically Challenged People

Strength of team : 3 members

Description : This project we design hovercraft (Air cushion vehicle) for mobility to physically challenged persons. Generally mobility aid (or) unable to move on rough surface. To overcome that we integrate hovercraft principle to develop a pneumatically controllable mobility aid. The hovercraft floats above the surface on a cushion of air supplied by the lift fan, the air cushion into the skirt through a hole by the brushless motor, the skirt inflates and the increasing air pressure acts on the base of the hull there by pushing up unit small holes made underneath the skirt prevent it from bursting and provide the cushion
