BikeRules (January 2014 – May 2015)

oLead and collaborated with our team to bring “BikeRules” from raw idea, prototype to a real product.

oFollowed LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) and Sustainable Manufacturing Concept to design the product.

oIndividually focused on the material selection & testing, BOM, 2D & 3D CAD drafting and manufacturing process design, to make this product reliable, durable, and recyclable.

Roam Robotics (August 2018 – present)

oEngaged with the customer with a strong technical understanding of their battery needs.

oWorked parallelly with other design engineers, production team, and the customers to provide and evaluate the design manufacturability.

oWalked the customer through the design-to-manufacturing process step by step.

oEvaluated and qualified the BOM components.

oSuccessfully delivered $50K high margin product for customer’s first development stage, currently delivering $100K product for their second stage, and already won the business for their third stage.

Resideo/Honeywell-Buoy (April 2019 – present)

oManaged the $1M mass production transition from the customer’s previous factory to us in 3 months.

oTogether with other design engineers upgraded the function of the battery module with a 10% lower cost.

oActively and constantly communicate with the customer team to help them plan the priority of the new design integration and product deployment.

oKept the current $1M production on schedule and new design steadily moving forward.

Respirator Project for COVID-19 (March 2020 – present)

oVigorously reacted to the COVID-19 related respirator projects with a very tight project timeline and managed to make the supply chain work for this life-saving product.

oIdentified the product requirements and built up the BOM with our engineer team within 2 days.

oHelped the customer’s team to test and approve the samples, fast reacted to multiple ECOs.

oIntroduced sample BOMs to mass production (1M pieces), ensure the production and product allocation will be arranged on time.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

Project Engineer (May 2018 - present) Tenergy Corporation, Fremont, CA

oManage battery projects (value $30K ~ $100M) unparallelly from new product development to mass production manufacturing.

oExperience with Lithium Ion, NiMH, NiCd battery cell/pack, and relative certifications & regulations.

oWork closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operation, quality, production, and logistic teams.

oKeep clear communication with cross-functional team with up-to-date project schedules, priorities, and risks.

oAudit, qualify, and manage domestic/overseas (China) vendors and CMs.
