Transformed IT from support function to business enabler to a revenue earning function. I have strengthened & restructured core IT infrastructure to support the present business needs and Implemented solutions like VoIP, Virtualization, etc., to optimize the costs. Further, sensing business needs well in advance I presented plan to the management to build the Big Data and other BI administration skills in the IT team; as a strategic investment and transformed the function into a revenue earning function. I am leading strong team of about 30 engineers from Core IT, Applications and Analytics functions. Some of the key achievements at InfoCepts – a. Setup and managed multiple ODCs for our clients. One of these is for world’s largest media company, including Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity sites.

Ebix is a CMMi-5 listed company having more than 1000 employees and multiple offices in India and abroad; carries out product development for Insurance sector, internationally. E-Z Data Inc., parent company of Premier Technology Group Pvt., Ltd. (PTG) was acquired by Ebix Inc. on October 1, 2009 and E-Z Data became CRM division on Ebix Inc. While I was absorbed as Head – MIS from PTG, I was later promoted as IT-Head, India, to handle pan India IT for Ebix. Some of the key achievements at Ebix –

PTG was ISO 9001:2004, Tick-IT certified, and some of the departments are ISO-27001 certified, including MIS. Some Key achievements at PTG – a. Provided solution for multi-location source code management. b. Built new facility for PTG and carried out migration in record time. Successfully implemented ISO 27001; implemented Disaster Recovery Site as a requirement of ISO 27001 and successfully maintained and conducted BCP drills to test effectiveness.
