CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Coordinating a massive steel package in the TRX retail mall named Central Exchange Package, that is of a challenging architectural design and resting on top of the roof. The coordination involved the design, the client meeting, architect discussions, drawings for main steel and connections.
Coordinated Level 2 structural design and construction for TRX retail mall of approximately 500mx 500m that is rendered the largest retail mall in Malaysia.
Assigned in the detailed design of over that 15+ platforms as structural engineer including FPSO topside design.
Successfully developed a macro to carry out in depth analysis of 4,000 foundations with different loads and shapes for a 50km pipeline to successfully saved 60% time in manual calculations.
Instrumental in recommending buoyancy tanks for the installation of an offshore structural platform without the need of heavy lifting equipment leading to savings of US$3million/day in crane rentals.
Introduced the installation of rubber shock shell to dramatically reduce the impact between boatlanding frame and the jacket structure.

Background
The Exchange TRX is Lendlease's largest integrated development in Asia. It is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Exchange TRX is a 17-acre retail-led mixed-use development that will be delivered by a Joint Venture between Lendlease (60%) and TRX City (40%) a wholly owned subsidiary of the Malaysian Ministry of Finance.
The focal point of the development will be The Exchange, a vibrant shopping, dining, leisure and entertainment destination featuring over 500 of the world's leading retailers, anchored by a premier department store, flagship fashion outlets, diverse dining offers, red carpet events and entertainment. The Exchange will also integrate with a 10-acre public park offering open green space, children's play facilities, cultural celebration, immersive garden dining and global events. Responsibility Steel Package – Central Exchange
Led the design and coordination of the central exchange steel package which is combined of two plantrooms (26m 45m), Steel Roof (Dancing roof) of 15 panels (each is 8.1m 25.5m), interlink structure with Cinema (17m 25.5m 9m height) and Retail shops.
Led the concept design and verification of proposed framing schemes prior to detail design.
Checked the proposed and selected framing system in coordination with Client.
Designed all the steel members and steel connections (shear, moment and splices).
Led and coordinated the whole package with architect, client and construction team raised issues.
Supervised and Led the BIM modelling, checked and issued detail and shop drawings till approval stage.
Steel Package – Hanging Balcony
Led the design and coordination of the central exchange hanging balcony which is a cantilever structure (balcony) stepped in different elevations with a cantilever length of 8.1m.
Designed the proposed framing system and steel members.
Designed the connections of steel to concrete structure, which is one of the most challenging designs and tasks I was involved in.
Retail Mall (RC structures) – Level 2 / Cinema Structure
Led the design and coordination of the entire floor for level 2 that is composed of 27 zones.
