Properties of Water in Allahabad Region (Environmental Engineering) 1 September 2017 - 1 April 2018
In this work, sample of water were collected from three different places at two different times of the year. The first set of sample was collected in the month of September, 2017 and second was collected in the April, 2018. Over the due course of time various parameters regarding the water quality water analyzed and the Indian Standard: 10500(Drinking Water Specifications) was referred to in order to the acceptability of water.
The Parameters which were analyzed are as follows: 1. Total Dissolved Solid
2. Total Suspended Solid
3. Determination of pH
4. Determination of Chloride Content
5. Determination of Sulphate content
6. Turbidity
7. Iron content Etc.
Most of the parameters were not found to be in desirable range for drinking water and hence, appropriate measures were suggested to improve the quality of water. INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE
