PROJECT

• Gesture Controlled Car (mini project)

Using RF module for Tx/Rx, decoding/encoding ICs, Arduino- Nano for microcontroller and Motor Driver IC L293D

Hand gesture based directional control of the car which can be employed in other two/four wheeler devices too. The setup can be utilized for any number of wheels by connecting it serially. Thus is gives us an ease in operating a machine jus by gesture of our hands without much effort. This very much applicable for clinical and paring purposes

• Android Drone DIY

Arduino-Nano is used as microcontroller, Bluetooth module: HC05, FC: QQ super thunder, MPU6050 as accelerometer

Complete control based on Android App with voice recognition features. Communication is done via Bluetooth device. The drone has inbuilt features like voice control for starting and stopping of blades, phone gesture control for direction change and immediate halt option. Constant update of signals sent and received is displayed on the app screen. This is designed to contribute in the field of agriculture, defense and aerial photography which is done easier with the conventional smartphones that anyone has today.

• Comparative analysis of elimination of lower order harmonics using UPFC and DPFC (major project)

Using simulation tools in MATLAB software.

Improving power quality and reducing harmonics in power. Harmonics cause the major drawback in power supply to the consumer. The UPFC and DPFC stand as a solution to reduce these harmonics. My project was a simulation based on MATLAB software for given power conditions. The results have proved upto 90% of harmonic reduction which would be a great contribution for the upcoming power increasing demand IN-PLANT TRAINING
