• Worked with high voltage (30-220K volts), I-lines and fiber optics, installed and dismantled equipment.

• More than 5 years in the CR (CONTROL ROOM) as Units, Controller, managing regional power units.

• Managed control process in the transfer of energy between the two networks - between Libya and Egypt.

• Monitored operation of systems for continuous, regulated/controlled output and functioning, initiated plans of action for outages and restoration of power, immediately responded to emergencies and initiated corrective action to minimize the effects of malfunctioning equipment.

• Responsible for Backup power supply system & DC system such as batteries and inverters in 220Kv substations

• Maintenance of transmission lines and electrical transformers inside the stations, in order to serve equipment, electric power plants and transmission of electricity, and specific operating stations.

Voltage Stability Analysis and Improvement for the South-West Libya Electrical Power System Voltage stability has been of increasing importance in facing the rising risks of voltage collapses or system blackouts, and in trying to improve systems, power quality, particularly in the relatively small and fast growing interconnected power systems of developing regions.

x Obtained 1nd position at Annual Poster competition, in GECOL 2009 by GECOL, Libya. x Fall 2010 scholarship; this is the customarily awarded to advanced graduate students in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, from the Bani Waled Technical Institute (BTI). x Best Operating Engineer Award from Siemens.
