Finance Library

Movie Premiere Registration (Currently In Production)

-Using Node, I am creating a system to communicate with users, whose client app is written with React framework, to create user logins that allow users to register for movie premieres created by the host, and let users preview where they are seated for their premiere. Users, events, and movie information are stored using MongoDB, and information communicates using a RESTful API to the server using Express.

Classroom Simulation

-Written in Java, this project focuses on the implementation of threads in Java and their differences from single threaded applications, which include synchronization of threads, thread priority levels, semaphores, mutexes, deadlocking, busy waiting, and resource starvation, by simulating students arriving for a test, blocking late students (threads) from coming into the room, and letting threads leave one at a time for multiple iterations and giving averages for the class at the end of execution.
