A set of three fixtures are used to test Pitch, Roll, Design, Quality and Endurance Verification for the Pilot Stick and Grip components. Generate complete Bill of Materials. Acquired quotes and coordinate with outside suppliers to get all parts in order.

Successful design of the Sample Handling Arm (SHA) project. This robotic arm will be installed in the MARS ROVER to be launch in 2020. The mission of the SHA is to collect soil samples from Mars. Overall Design was a two-tier Design 3D Assemblies and conduct single part FEA analysis. Summarize all FEA reports and provide Program Manager with results. Generated all sets of drawings for these assemblies, properly applying GD&T to this set of drawings.

Generated and provided the Support Engineering Staff with all documentation for a successful transition.

Working in the Powertrain division. Generated a few Test Fixture Devices. To be used to assemble the Magnet Driven Motor. Generated all 3D Models, assemblies, drawings and a complete BoM. Aided in the design of 3 sets of Motor-Mounting brackets. These brackets will hold the Powertrain Motor(s) to the Sub-frame. Generated drawings for all brackets, properly applying GD&T to this set of drawings.

Company’s products: High-Speed, High-Performance Motor Generators. Advanced Magnetic Bearing and Control Systems used to either recycle wasted energy or provide electrical energy.

Company’s products: Radar Tracking Systems and Precision Guided Munitions for DoD.

In collaboration with Rockwell (Fullerton, CA) designed a 6U-VXI Chassis for the Receiver/Exciter Unit (REX) The REX is a subsystem for the Ammunition Tracking System.

Conducted Finite Element Analysis (Using Cosmos software) ran structural, vibration and thermal analysis for the REX Unit, and ten (10) individual 3U-Cards.

Generated a complete Mechanical Bill of Materials for the REX Unit.

Reviewed customer’s SOW and through Finite Element Analysis (using ANSYS software) conducted structural stress, modal simulation and vibration analysis for existing line of Power Distribution Units (PDU’s), used on helicopters. After completing PDU’s analysis and finding structural, vibration and deflection deficiencies, recommended methods to improve Units structural deficiencies.

Member of an engineering team that developed the company’s first Mobile Gamma-Rays Detection System (GaRDS). First identified the vehicle that would transport the system, then designed a mechanical system strong enough to house and protect photo-sensors and other electronics modules from outdoor elements, but light enough to be transported, deployed and stow via hydraulics.

Generated 3-D assembly models, machined, cast drawings and a complete BOM for the GaRDS. Generated Specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the GaRDS. All drawings adhered to ANSI Y14.5M standards and used GD&T where necessary.
