To prepare the RM & FP specifications along with the other Technology transfer documents.

To conduct the technology transfer at the manufacturing site.

ANNXURE –1

I have worked as a Project assistant in CSMCRI in project untitled “Development of Nitrate selective resin for removing of Nitrate from ground water” sponsored by Ministry of forest and enviorment.Under this project Co-polymer(STY.-DVB) having varying degree of cross linking and Fm values (Fm.value is the ratio of monomer mixture and monomer and solvent ) were synthesized by suspension polymerization technique. This STY.-DVB polymer were chloromethylated and strong anion exchanger were prepared from chloronethylated STY.-DVB. Beads by reaction with different aliphatic tertiary amine. All anion exchanger were characterized for various physicochemical and hydrodynamic properties Viz. capacity, surface area,density,porosity,dye-uptake,distribution C0-efficient selectivity co-efficient,coloum study etc

During this period I have also learnt several spectroscopic technique Viz.UV/Vis.,NMR,IR,etc.and water analysis for nitrate,sulphate,alkalinity,conductivity,calcium,magnesium,etc. by titration method.

I have worked as a R & D chemist in Sky lead chemical Ltd,. We are the only manufacturer of sulphonated carboxylic acid and their esters in India. I am working on new product development which is used as cationic dye able polyester, drug internidate,X-ray contrast agent.I am also working on some specialty chemicals which is used in specialty intermediate in synthetic yarn, wool finish,speciality inks, modified nylon etc.I have worked on different reaction like Nitration,esterification,Trans-esterification,sulphonation,halogenation,fridel-craft,fusion at 300 0C.Beside that Iam also familiar with all R & D Lab. Operations and pilot plant.

Here my work responsibility was Literature survey, Process development towards cost reduction by improving yield and quality improvement and process scale-up to pilot plant and implementation on plant.

I have served as a Sr. R & D Chemist in Dishman pharmaceutical Ltd. Ahemedabad.It is a leading company in manufacturing of phase transfer catalysts.

I have worked on latest API Development project. Under this project I have worked on different reaction like Oxidation with using different oxidization agent like MnO2,NaOCl,Pt/O2,H2O2 etc.

Reduction with Various reducing agent like NaNH2,NaH,Chemoselective reduction with using Di-isobutyl aluminum hydride at –78 0C. and also worked on different reaction like witting reaction,o-alkylation,fridelcraft,grignard,Quaternization,Knovenegel etc.

Here my work responsibility was to guide to my subordinate,Litrature survey, Process development and scale-up to pilot plant and implementation on plant.
