• Collaborated with an organic chemist to evaluate various synthesis reactions in order to achieve a higher yield.
• Used thin-layer chromatography and separation techniques to test various synthesis reactions and choose the best way to produce diphenyl phthalate in the lab and the plant.
• Followed a detailed procedure to make Azelaic acid in small batches to identify the changes needed for larger batches.

• Conducted individualized meetings several times a week and executed lessons based on unique needs of students.
