MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ~ Project

Done a Study On “JOB SATISFACTION” at ANDHRA PRADESH FOREST ACADEMY, DULAPALLY Hyderabad.

The father of scientific management TAYLOR’S approach to job satisfaction was based on a most pragmatic and essentially pessimistic philosophy that man is motivated by money alone.

But, over the years we have moved away from the Tailors monetary approach to a more humanistic orientation.

The term job satisfaction was brought to lime light by ”HOPPOCK”(1935).He reviewed 32studies on job satisfaction conducted prior to 1933 and observed that job satisfaction is a combination of psychological, physiological and environmental circumstances that cause a person to say “I AM SATISFIED WITH MY JOB”. Such a description indicates a variety of variables that influences the satisfaction of the individual but tells us nothing about the nature of job satisfaction.
