Position Summary:
Responsible for all aspect of maintenance and management of mechanical works. Essential Function:
Maintenance and management of all the tools and tackle deployed at the site i.e. pneumatic wrenches, chain blocks, hydraulic breaker etc.
Conduct and arrange Third Party Inspection (TPI) of all mechanical machinery equipment deployed at site as per schedule and safety guidelines. Maintain a daily checklist of machinery like TBM, Air Compressor, Locomotive, DG sets & Gantry Crane (32/5 ton) & (50/15)
Assisting in Installation, maintenance and commissioning of Gantry crane, cooling tower and Air compressor, TBM (TUNNEL BORING MACHINE) etc.
Preparation and ordering mechanical spare parts for the Grout Plant and cement feeder, Pneumatic wrench etc. and machine (Bar cutting machine, welding machine etc.) deployed at site.
Assisting in heavy lifting and lowering of TBM (TUNNEL BORING MACHINE) by preparing all the necessary paper work and setting up cranes in position according to plans and drawings. Also taking charge in hand in absence of senior engineer at the time of mining and ring building.
