I am a person that loves my country and I have always held the belief that every good citizen should serve his country. To that end I’ve sought experience and education to make me better suited for the government and to an extent, the ways people work collectively. Knowing how people operate in teams was a driving force behind my decision to get a BS Psych. I’ve also done security work before, and I believe those experiences along with my time in the military have made me suited for the job I am currently seeking.
That time in the military made me keenly aware of the importance of people. Managing, understanding, and working with people are unavoidable in the military and so as I started college I chose Psychology with a focus on the psychology of organizations and the people that comprise them. That time spent as a Military Police Soldier has given me experience in questioning, interrogating, processing, and managing people, all in addition to typical combat duties, which I will not include.
