Lowell General Hospital March 2013 to Present

As a Phlebotomist of the Lowell General’s Laboratory, I identified, prepared and registered patients for blood collection procedures, collects blood specimens using correct veno-puncture or capillary puncture techniques, selects proper specimen containers, safe management and transport of specimen, record data entry and maintain records under the core value assurance protocol of the Lowell General Hospital. I am also trained to perform urinalysis testing such as drug screening, pregnancy, and sexually transmitted diseases.

As a care giver I assisted elderly residents with administrated medicine, provided injections, and assisted caring for their injuries, while following safety regulations, and protocols procedures of Methuen Village.
