PROJECTS
Major Project - Development and fabrication of mechanically operated sprayer.
In order to reduce human effort in operating knapsack sprayer, we made a working model in which the knapsack sprayer is fixed to the trolley.
By using a sprocket chain mechanism, the piston in the cylinder reciprocates with the rotation of a shaft of the trolley.
To convert circulatory motion to reciprocating motion, we mounted eccentric disc between the bigger sprocket and piston rod. Minor Project - Study Report for Sub-zero heat treatment for D2 Steels.
Sub-zero heat treatment is used to transform retained austenite into Martensite.
It is usually applied to high carbon, high alloy steels such as tool steels, widely applied by aerospace companies to guarantee complete transformation.
To improve properties such as wear resistance, hardness, Life Span and to decrease dimensional error.
