1. Engineering Exploration:

Title: Alphabetic writing machine.

Tools: Arduino UNO, IR sensors, DC motors etc.

Description: This model is mainly intended to operate autonomous. This device is used to write the letters based on user requirements.

My role: Designing and building a suitable mechanism for writing a letters on a paper. 2. Engineering Design and Product Realization:

Title: Thermocol cutting machine.

Software used: Solid works.

Description: The projects main objective was to gain knowledge about the concept of Engineering Design and realization of product. The Project consists of Multi-Disciplinary spectrum. The machine should cut the thermocol based on user requirement. Designing iterations was thoroughly carried out in the SOLIDWORKS CAD software. The project was carried out using a sensor device which senses the thermocol and cuts accordingly. My role: Designing the product and deciding suitable fabrication process. 3. Mini-project:

Title: Pomegranate peeling machine.

Software used: CATIA 3D Experience.

Description: The main objective of this project was to understand reverse Engineering. The Pomegranate peeling machine has complicated profile and many modules are used. And many measuring methods are used to take dimensions.

My role: Modeling and assembling of critical parts of sub-assemblies. 4. Minor project:

Title: Domestic Flour mill.

Software used: Solidworks.

Description: This machine is used to get the fine flour of grains by using rotating blades running by the single phase 0.5HP motor. Our main objective is to make the product that can be used for home applications.

My role: Designing and building a suitable mechanism for crushing a grains to obtain fine flour .

Internship:

Company’s name: JSW Steel ltd.

Duration: 24 days.

JSW Steel Ltd, the flagship company of the JSW Group that operates a 6.8 million tonne per annum (mtpa) steel plant at Toranagallu in Bellary district of Karnataka. I got a chance of working in this industry through my academic requirement in the form of 24 days internship. Project: Failure Analysis of Long Travel (L.T) motion in EOT cranes using ANSYS software.
