PERSONAL PROJECTS

Hamlyn Surgical Robot Challenge (01/2019 – 06/2019) Created a 3D-printed robotic multitool to aid thoracic surgeons in performing stent therapy in patients with airway tumours. Consulted physicians to understand the clinical issue then used Fusion360 to design the device and Arduino to control it. Competed in London, England in June 2019.

Invention disclosure filed & US patent application in progress. Myoelectric Prosthetic Arm (12/2017 – 08/2018)

Developed a signal processing algorithm in MATLAB to take human EMG signals from the bicep and use them to drive an Arduino- controlled 3D-printed prosthetic arm.

This project was featured in local newspapers.
