SENIOR ELECTRICAL TECHNICAL OFFICE ENGINEER designing the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, HV, MV, LV power distribution network providing technical engineering solutions, developing schedules, coordinating with other contractors, assisting with cash flow projections, and helping with project closeout.

Responsible for:

Coordinating with the architectural designs, drawings and specifications for new and revised shop drawings and interior spaces.

Reviewing designs and engineering plans, specifications and contract documents to ensure compliance with government codes, laws and regulations upon issuing the shopdrawings.

Performing and checking quantity surveying works and materials take-off to insure the accuracy of quantities in the Bill of Quantity (BOQ).

Reviewing preliminary designs, working drawings, specifications and cost estimates related to the project.

Provides technical expertise in development or review of policies and procedures in relation to Electrical/MEP and ELV systems and construction/safety codes.

Reviewing Subcontractor's shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and contract agreements by checking them for technical accuracy according to the project accepted guidelines.

Working with customers and Clients to gather facts defines design and space planning problems, conceptualize possible solutions and secure approvals of proposals.

Reviewing product, analyzes materials and determines appropriateness for application to projects..

Provides finish selections including lighting fixtures and other wiring accessories and other various interior selections.

Key achievements:

Currently working at LUSAIL LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT SYSTEM LRT (14 STATIONS).

MEP Co-ordinator reviewing, and analyzing all MEP drawings, material submittals, schedules, programs of works and Co-ordinate all electro-mechanical activities with various teams on site.

Responsible for:

Managing all work related to HV/TX/LV systems in all the project as of 9 substations with all the equipment inside in addition to following up all the HV/LV cable pulling and all the busbars instillation in all the site.

Managing Grade A KM approved subcontractor for all the ligilizaion related to the procedures of the power connection.

Reviewing MEP subcontractor shop drawing prior to submittal for service co-ordination and co-ordination with other construction elemnts.

Reviewing material/equipments technical submittals from MEP contractor for specification compliance.

Co-ordinating between MEP and Civil at the site to ensure that no conflict may happen between civil and MEP teams.

Reviewing of method statements from MEP contractor with respect to installation worksand logistics for equipment positioning.

Ensuring that all civil obstructions have been cleared to MEP contractor to proceed with MEP activities.

Ensuring that a harmonious working relationship is exists between the Subcontractors and the Consultants .

Reviewing the weekly reports, forward work plans and daily reports to verify comprehensive activity documentation.

Electrical project Engineer - Provides complete technical support on all aspects of project management from the operability and maintainability point of view, from conception to hand-over and ensure that assigned projects are completed to the required quality, schedule and cost.

Responsible for full range of Electrical services:

Responsible for review and approval of shop drawings.

Responsible for review and approval of material submittals.
