■ 1-year project to do the study of phytochemicals and antidiabetic activity of Lagerstroemia Speciosa (L.) Pers.

■ Project was supervised by the Assistant Professor of Botany Department.

■ The study indicates the leaves of Lagerstroemia Speciosa possesses antioxidant properties and could serve as free radical inhibitors or scavengers.

■ Result shows Lagerstroemia Speciosa’s leaves can be used in anti-diabetic drugs.

■ This project gave me an opportunity to enhance my leadership and team player skills. ACHIEVEMENTS
