Job Role

Responsible for the testing and debugging of UPS up to 1.6 MW (300 KVA to 1.6MVA ).

Conducting Various Type, Functional and Performance tests to find the design data values, Specification requirements, company and nationals standards With help of following Equipments Lecroy, Fluke Power Analyzers, AC Source, DC Source, Auto Transformers and following tests Hipot, Functional and Final Testing of Power Electronics Products, UPS, Power Distribution Units (PDU’s),PCB Boards Testing.

Job Role

Conducting FAT test in based on customer requirement.

New project development.

Development of test equipment.

Looking breakdown and maintenance of DC source and load banks used for high power UPS testing.

Working with Automated Test Equipments used for testing of low power UPS.

Essential Functions:

Testing and debugging of UPS and INVERTERS.

Designed test Jig for controlling the relay Operation inside Power Panel.

Leads in resolving Corrective Actions quickly pertaining to electrical/electronic components.

Actively participates in product transitions and discussions, and ensuring that all electrical/Electronic parts-related issues affecting product transitions are resolved prior to release to manufacturing.

Training the internal people for testing all models of UPS,INVERTER.

Familiarity with the use and handling of test equipment such as Digital Oscilloscopes, DMM, Hipot testers, LCR meters, Programmable power supplies etc.

Responsible for analyzing field problems based on the Field Quality Engineer feedback and improve the test procedure in order to reduce the same.

Performing regular preventive maintenance of Test Equipment.

Experience in Testing & Debugging of high-power UPS systems.

Development of System Test Procedures (STP) against System requirements as per the specifications and code reviews, Hardware/Software Integration testing on test bench/test jig.
