With Marketing, performed risk analysis regarding industry de-regulation, negotiated a new contract with the utility company, and reduced the refinery’s electric power cost.

Startup included operator training and troubleshooting.
Project manager for identifying and executing the best option for the disposition of surplus equipment and active purchase orders due to a canceled capital project. Negotiated the sale, which returned 600% over the salvage value. Also negotiated cancellation costs with some suppliers, resulting in additional savings.
Senior resident engineer at Badger engineering for a $350MM expansion of the refinery including new crude and vacuum units. Improved engineer/client interface and facilitated engineering deliverables.
