Designation: Assistant Engineer (Electrical Engineer) Duration : July 2015 – November 2017

KSEB Ltd is a Gov. Organization to generate, transmit and distribute power throughout Kerala state.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operation and maintenance of substation equipment, condition monitoring, etc.

Operation and maintenance of Transformers with ratings such as 16 MVA and 12.5 MVA.

Trouble shooting of power system equipment and control cable testing.

Operations and maintenance of EHT,HT and LT lines and substation equipment like Power Transfomers,SF6 and Vacuum Circuit Breakers, Current Transformers, Potential Transformers, Lightning Arresters, Capacitor Banks, OLTC, Bus Isolators, etc.

110KV and 11KV Board Operations, Protection circuits and relays, Battery system control cabling, Panel wiring and Panel Board Operations.

Supervising planned maintenance works.

Issuing Permit works on Power Transformers, EHT feeders to concerned authorities

Preparation of various records such as monthly operating reviews, daily log sheets different registers, etc.

Estimation of materials required for installation of substation equipment.

Attending meetings to solve any technical issues.
