Distribute oral and topical (routine) meds that are prescribed by physician,order refills,keep cart & med room clean & orderly. Make sure narcotics are kept locked and counted correctly in cart. Observe the residents and report any changes to charge nurse. The supplies and medicine that is needed on cart are available to stock the cart as needed for shift. Take the vitals and report. Check the MAR to make sure the information is correct on each resident.
