PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

FIELD DEVELOPMENT, MANAGEMENT, OPTIMIZATION AND WATER/GAS INJECTION OF OIL AND GAS FIELDS IN ALBERTA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, SASKATCHEWAN AND OVERSEAS

Maximized oil and gas recovery for a wide range of projects covering Light, Medium and Heavy Oil as well as gas fields in Alberta, B.C., Saskatchewan and Overseas which produced 300 to 35000 BOPD and up to 20 MMSCFD. Major duties were: Reservoir Management, Reservoir Monitoring and Reservoir Surveillance via Well/Field Optimization of Primary and Waterflood operations, Water Supply and Quality (Fresh Water, Produced Water, Mixed Water) for Water Injection and Disposal, development/infill drilling, balancing voidage repalcement ratio (VRR), modifying patterns, injection targets, redistribution of water, well conversions and workovers.

Key Projects: Provost Viking Waterflood Project, Countess Upper Mannville Waterflood Project, Weasel Halfway Waterflood Unit No.1, Cherhill Banff H Unit No.1, North Eureka Waterflood Unit, Coleville South Bakken Heavy Oil Pool, Ricinus D-3A and Clark Lake Slave Point Project, Ghani Zenad Farrud carbonate reservoir in Libya, En Naga Gir reservoir in Libya, Bolontiku Offshore Field in Gulf o f Mexico, Camarao and Sardinha Offshore Fields in Brazil, Hiswah Field of low permeability carbonate fractured reservoir in Yemen and Egwa Waterflood in Nigeria.

Generated development, capital and operating expense budgets up to $20 million.

Planned, organized and presented development proposals and performance reviews to Management, Working Intereset Owners and Technical Meetings for approval, implementation and progress reports.

Made submission to the regulatory agencies such as Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB), Saskatchewan Energy and Mines (SEM) and National Oil Corp. (NOC) for field development, implementation of water/gas injection and EOR projects, allowables, expansion of EOR projects, off target drilling and penalty relief.

EVALUATIONS FOR ACQUISITION AND DIVESTITURE

M. RAHMATH / Page 2

Enhanced corporate growth through acquisition, consolidation, disposal, farmin and farmout of assets in the range of $500 thousand to $25 million.

Proposals, unitization, completion, workovers, abandonment and land purchases.

RESERVES DETERMINATION AND UPDATE

Determined and updated original oil and gas in place as well as reserves in the range of 700 MMSTB and 900 BCF respectively for various oil and gas fields in North America and Overseas by conducting Volumetric, Material Balance including MBAL, Probabilistic Volumetric (PROVOL), Decline Curve Analysis and Simulation Studies.

Increased oil and gas reserves in the range of 10 to 30 MMSTB and gas reserves of 44BCF by reclassifying from Probable and Possible to Proved Reserves.

Revised and booked reserves for corporate Annual Reserves Reporting following guidelines of SEC in USA, NI 51-101 in Canada, SPE and Other Reporting in Overseas.

Updated reserves on semiannual and annual basis for PUD, POSS and PROB reserves. Upgraded reserves from PROB and POSS to PUD.

Planned, organized and presented reserves and review/report to Management, Working Interest Owners and Reserve Auditors/Reserve Committee/Planning Department for approval and submission.

ENHANCED OIL RECOVERY (EOR)

Revised a reservoir engineering study to implement a $40 million gas miscible flood project in the Caroline Cardium Pool. Submitted Royalty Relief Application and obtained Approval for this tertiary oil recovery scheme from AE&NR.

Reviewed and monitored performance of the non-operated Fireflood Pilot in the Countess Upper Mannville Pool, resulting in a million dollar savings in the discretionary spending. Revised operator's proposals to optimize production and pilot expansion, which increased the Pilot earnings by 20%.

Implemented a multi well tracer program to evaluate tertiary oil recovery scheme in the Provost Viking Waterflood Project. Screened and initiated a laboratory study for the viability of micellar flood to recover one million barrels of tertiary oil.

Conducted scoping studies/evaluations for initiating/updating Tertiary Oil Recovery and Tracer Survey program for Provost Viking and Ghani/Zenad Farrud Waterflood Projects.
