Project: Rite aid acquisition special enrollment in 2018

Role: Associate analyst(Junior tester)

Client Name: Walgreens Co.

Description of the Project:

The client Walgreens acquired new organization called Rite aid. Every year during year end we used to have phase called Annual enrollment where after our changes benefits for employees in client will be effective 01/01 of the plan year. But due to rite aid acquisition, client opted for mid-year enrollment for those acquired employees in Rite aid which will be effective during 06/01 of the year 2018. As per client requirements development team developed enrollment window for them to enroll with the client enrollment portal both in web and mobile app platform. As a testing team of 7 members, we did the testing and delivered the quality project within the given deadline.

My Responsibilities:

Prepared Test Plan, Test Cases and testing scenarios, Install the application and configure the application.

Loading data into the application.

Data preparation using PL/SQL

Executing test cases and preparing daily execution report.

Defect logging and tracking.

On time escalations.

Reviewing of test cases prepared by peers.

Providing adequate support to the developers for defect analysis.

Project: Implementation of new client

Role : Associate Analyst

Client Name : Target Corporation

Description of the Project:

We got our brand new project where we need to implement US client Target corporation for administrating benefits and providing the first enrollment window in their enrolment portal and mobile app. The project was really complex one as client needed lots of customizations compared to base setups. After the project came to integration testing phase, we were able to identify lots of defects and escalated on time to developers and even we identified gaps in requirements and spotted them to client so that they were able to give clear requirements without gaps. We had end to end follow-ups continuously with developers, BA’s and clients by giving frequent demonstration in testing phase. Client was really happy when performing UAT testing in test environment with lesser number of low priority test defects.

My Responsibilities:

Preparing Test Plan, Test Cases and testing scenarios.

Write the SQL queries to insert the rows in table and run the SQL to create the test data from backend.

Executing test cases manually and prepares daily execution report.

Extensive use of Defect and Test Management tool to log the defect and test result.

Providing adequate support to the developers for defect analysis and performing defect management lifecycle.
