AECOM MIDDLE EAST LIMITED – DUBAI 2015-PRECENT.

Dubai Opera House District :

This new vibrant and culturally oriented community which draw further attention to this significant are locating the Opera House in, we were assigned to develop the Ground Plaza Design & landscape to detailed design in addition to the Basement areas effected, coordinating with other disciplines and site team was required to fulfill the design needs. The biggest challenge was the Secondary Infrastructure System that were really effected within each building located on that area. Three main parts were considered on this scope: Tunnels (M004 Tunnel, D1D2 Tunnel, The Loft tunnel and the Forte car park Tunnel) that are connecting to the BLVD., under ground car park modification and all other effected Areas.

Since its located to the Existing Opera District Basement and needed full coordination with other teams, from building engineers to Infra structure Engineers, this project went from the Concept Stage considering the Authority Approvals reaching the IFC submission and some other coordination were considered with the site team and contractors. Two Pedestrian Bridges- Dubai Down Town:

Two Pedestrian Bridges located on Mohd. Bin Rashid BLVD. Dubai Downtown, connecting the Existing Metro Pedestrian Bridge to both: 1. Vista Towers .

2. Address Hotel (new).

These two bridges were designed from the Concept design reaching the IFC stage, which are now constructed.

Forte Towers (D1D2) PLOT:

Forte Towers (5B+G+72 Floors +42 floors) Residential with Emaar in Dubai down town; my Task as an Architect was supporting the Senior architect on the design stage which drove the Project to reach the Constructions Stage.

Dubai Lamer Guard House :

As a Project Architect I was assign to develop many proposals targeting client’s approval where two guard houses were designed (Main & Secondary Guard house Buildings) that controls the Gates to the Lamer Residence, we drove the design from the concept reaching the IFC.(Using Sketch-up & CAD).

Shams Marina – Abu Dhabi:

Two residential Towers + two hotels and beach House, with all the facilities servicing these buildings, these were designed by (WOODS BAGOT) and our scope was to review & comment on the shop drawings, fix all the miss-coordinated design to reach into better design and support the contractor with the RFI’s needed.

MOTC :

This project was consist of many buildings : bus stations, Labours’ accommodations, mosques, gusts’ facilities and the offices. As a team work, I was involved on the site analysis/study, re-design the labours’ acumination and on the Bus Stations site all over 7 sites, in addition to the architectural layout proposals submitted to fulfill client’s needs.

I was involved on the main buildings design in addition to the Interior Design for many buildings located on Al-Wakra site, it was challenging for me as its my first time to do ID in details.

FSAD:

Four Season Hotel Abu Dhabi – Existing Project.

The Scope of this Project was doing some modification on the Existing Exterior walls and some interior spaces effected to create a Fire Safety Zone that can help and serve the Hotel users, upon to ADM regulations. Started from the Concept Design ended on the Authority Submissions and Approvals to reach the construction Drawings, in coordination with the site team contractor.

Dubai Harbor Ancillary Buildings:

Consists of :

- Dubai Civil Defense & Dubai Police Building ( two stories Building).

- Facility Management Building ( two stories Building).

- Car Park Building (5 Stories car Park).

- RTA Kiosks (2 No.s)

Designing those buildings with different needs to fulfill clients in addition to the Dubai civil defense and Dubai police requirements, where we designed offices and in-call accommodations for both, The Scope Of this Project started from the concept to the authorities submission. We’ve used the Revit to insure full coordinated design drove to the client, with 3D and reports.

Al- Wedyan – Saudi Arabia: APM

This was my first task to Support PM on the Bids, my scope was to modify the bid proposal in coordination with all disciplines leads using In Design, that gave me better understanding on how projects would start. Palm Hills Oasis Development Architect & APM:

Al-Maydan Carpark – Landscape and underground car park: Landscape & architecture design were my scope of design started for three no.s of underground car park and the coordinated design with other disciplines t allow me designing in align the landscape above these car parks and its relation to the surrounding landscape. Pump Stations:

I have enough experience on designing different pump stations & sub station; where I came to do all the below:

1. Dubai Opera District – FS2 PS2:

Relocating and designing the Filtration Pumping Station was really challenging in which it serve the Dubai Downtown Fountains, which is a focal point all over Dubai. This Station was really a good Experience for me to start designing other stations I’ve done all over my experience in AECOM.

2. Dubai Lamer Stations:

TWO Irrigation Pumping stations were driven from the Concept Design ended to the IFC along with all the Authority Approvals . 3. Al- Maydan Pump Station:

This station is Fire Fighting and Irrigation Pump station started from Concept design, Authorities Approval & IFC.

4. Kifaf Pump Station Landscape & Architecture:

Landscape & architecture design for this Irrigation & Fire Fighting Pumping Station (utility Building).

Designing it from the Concept design reaching the IFC, including the landscape scope.

5.Dubai Harbor Pump Stations:

Dubai Harbor Project contains four stations that were designed and coordinated from the Concept design stage till the Construction Drawing stage with the Authorities Approval.

These stations were :

1. Landscape & Architectural design of Potable water and Firefighting Pump station Station(utility Building).

2. Landscape & Architectural design of Irrigation Pump Station. 3. Landscape & Architectural design of Sewage Lifting Station one. 4. Landscape & Architectural design of Sewage Lifting station three. 6.Dubai Harbor Bay Marina - Substations:

Three No.s of substations, was a good experience; in which these utility Buildings are located on the marine, where a lot of coordination with the infrastructure were taken into considerations.
