• Act as a coach in the areas of practical application of HSSE Management systems
• Communicate bpTT policies and procedures to all personnel working on the vessel
Responsibilities
The Offshore HSSE Advsior is responsible and will be held accountable for:
• Communicating HSSE requirements and providing assurance and self-verification on risk identification, effectiveness of controls, regulatory and procedure compliance
• Assisting with the accurate compilation, reporting and action-tracking of all HSSE performance inputs and outputs for the activity.
• Maintain records of all HSSE meetings, reviews including attendees and discussion
• Ensure all persons receive the bp HSSE induction
• Liaising with contractors (Marine Crew and Project Personnel ) to ensure BPTT HSSE Policies and procedures are understood and met at all times.
• Providing the Project Onshore HSSE Lead and Project Manager/SPA with daily reports of all activities carried out during the course of the activity.
• Confirm Communications Test (systems and emergency channel) done
• Verbally reporting of all Incidents And Near Misses as soon as being notified
• In conjunction with Client Survey rep and party chief, STOP work if any of the controls and mitigation measures identified in the risk assessments are no longer in place or non-functional . No consultation required if deemed immediately dangerous to life or health

Responsibilities:
Ensure establishment and proper implementation of work processes at the site level as stipulated in the Project Safety Plan and the Project Security Plan
Monitor, investigate, identify, and resolve site level HSSE issues, evaluate metrics, and provide weekly / monthly reports to responsible line management, Project Team HSSE Team, and Function, as required
Work with company and contractor's site management and Safety, Security, Health, and Environment organizations to implement project specific site safety programs
Advise site Project Team (company, contractor, and subcontractors) of company, contractor, and local authorities' safety requirements, regulations, expectations, and best practices
Facilitate and advise contractor and subcontractors to establish, communicate, and implement safety expectations and initiatives; monitor and stimulate execution with contractor's safety policy, rules, and procedures; and monitor conformance with project and site safety execution plans and implement improvements where appropriate
Promote safety awareness and safe performance among Project Team members, including consultants and contractor personnel
Identify and work to eliminate site hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts; work with company, contractor, and subcontractor management toward achieving an injury-free work place
