• Model Simulation of Gasoline Direct Injection Engine Development of 1-D model of an engine with GDI technology and simulation of the model using GT-Power environment.

• Lane Departure Warning System

Developed a prototype for detecting road lane lines and warning the driver by suitable warning system in case of a lane change by developing the software for the same.

• Methanol as an Alternative Fuel for SI engine powered vehicles Studied the properties of methanol and the properties of the methanol when blended with gasoline and its effects on the operation of a vehicle.

• Servicing Methods of DPF and development of a standardized procedure of servicing. Achieving lower pressure drop and higher cleaning efficiency across DPF and development of standardized procedure of servicing of DPF. Limiting pressure drop across DPF between 40- 200mbar and achievement of cleaning efficiency of more than 80%.

• Design and analysis of smokeless biomass cookstoves Achievement of clean burning condition with minimal smoke and operating close to air-fuel ratio of 1.3:1(air-fuel ratio of producer gas) and overall thermal efficiency of 38%. SOFTWARES:
