API PROCESS DEVELOPMENT JOB PROFILE:
Literature search with various scientific software like Sci-finder and Reaxys
Designing and selection of non infringing synthetic route (route scouting) by review of literature and patents
Chemical procurement using SAP system
Feasibility study of selected route with characterization of each and every intermediate by H1 NMR, C13 NMR, LCMS, Mass, IR etc.
Impurity evaluation and their synthesis and characterization as per CMC of product
Optimization and developing new product from lab to pilot scale with process improvement skill
Modification and improvement in existing products and processes as per customer needs and manufacturing department requirements
Preparation of new polymorph of API and study of polymorphism from XRPD data
Monitoring and trouble shooting of plant batches.
Co-ordination to analytical team for the monitoring of reaction by HPLC, GC, etc.
Supporting to RA and IPM department for document required for DMF and patent filing
