ALYSJ JV – Gold Line Metro
October 2015 to April 2019
ALYSJ JV is a Joint Venture between Aktor S.A, Larsen&Toubro, Yapi Merkezi, STFA and Al Jaber. The JV was appointed by Qatar Rail for the construction of the new Gold Line, which consists of approx 11km of underground tunnel and the construction of 10 underground stations.

M8, M3, M74 Motorway improvement scheme
November 2013 to September 2015:
Design and Build M8, M73, M74 motorway improvement scheme. Construction of 12km of new M8 motorway, 8km of new A8 dual carriageway, various junctions, various structures, lane widening to M73 and M74 and New Raith Junction. Value: £500m

M80 Stepps to Haggs Online Section :
May 2009 – July 2010:
Widening of 7km of the existing A80 into the new M80. HQC was appointed as earthwork sub-contractors for works which included all earthworks and drainage.

Glendoe Hydro Project:

Design & build of a 100MW Hydro Electrical Scheme, Glendoe, Scotland. This scheme consisted of an approx 15km of tunnels, powerhouse, 1km of cut & cover tunnels, 4.2km of 2m diameter pipeline, 3km of smaller diameter pipelines, rock fill reservoir & approx 46km of associated road works.
