Clinical Skills:

• Perform comprehensive and problem focused history and physical exams, interpret and correlate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Interpret and correlate subjective and objective data to formulate a differential diagnose and establish a working diagnosis. Formulate a treatment plan for problems within scope of practice.

• Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions when appropriate.

• Specially trained to assist the physician in heart catheterization diagnostic and interventional as well as complex peripheral procedures

• Obtain and remove central venous and arterial access with sheath placement

• Operate fluoroscopy equipment

• Right and left heart catheterization with hemodynamic monitoring

• Insert, manipulate and maneuver catheters and guide wires

• Assist with diagnostic angiography

• First assist in interventional procedures

• Inflate/deflate angioplasty balloons

• Deliver, deploy, release of devices

• Suture sheaths, intra aortic balloon pumps, impella left ventricular assist device

• Closure of arterial and venous access

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including but not limited to joint and bursa aspirations, injections of joints, as well as brace, cast and splint applications.

• Cosmetic injector using Botox, dermal fillers and Kybella

• PRP injections
