CAREER HISTORY:

2010 – Present Offshore Electro Technical Officer

Maintain, test and repair a vast range of Electro-Mechanical system, Electronics systems, Dynamic positioning system, Hydraulic System, Communication system, and Navigation system fitted to the various type of offshore vessels like; Drill ships/ Geotechnical vessels, AHTS(Anchor handling ), MPSV, PSV.

●Maintain, test, fault find and repair a multitude of marine system components for the various type of offshore vessel to maintain operational effectiveness.

●Investigate and rectify faults within complex electronic systems down to component level.

●Repair electronic system components, PCB boards and interconnections.

●Solely responsible for Maintaining the Dynamic Positioning (D.P.) System, all type of Electrical & Electronic system and ensuring smooth operation.

●Maintain/repair and troubleshoot various types of Hydraulic systems (Thrusters, Hydraulic Winches, Kam Fork, Hydraulic propulsion, shark jaw, towing pins, etc.)

●Maintain workplace safety, tidiness and proper housekeeping at the top most priority.

●Help develop a ‘lean’ system within the workplace optimizing work flow efficiency and output.

●Satisfy urgent equipment requirements by working extended hours at short notice to meet operational needs.
