Job Responsibilities

Review in detail Tender Drawings & Specifications of MEP Services.

Preparing the shop drawings in compliance with Tender specifications, authority regulations like DEWA, SEWA, FEWA & ADEWA and IEEE standards for Electrical Drawings, Local Municipality regulations for Drainage and Water Supply Systems.

Review and prepare HVAC Drawings as per ASHRAE Standards & Green Building Regulations.

Review Submittals from suppliers for MEP Services and check their compliance with Technical Specification and forward the same to Consultants, following up for its approval.

Responsible for overseeing/managing daily site activities with site team.

Continually review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site works with regards to MEP services and report to the Project Director on the same.

Provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector and contracting service provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.

Analyze Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering problems and formulate solutions.

Attend the regular meetings with Client, Consultant & sub-Contractors with regard to work progress and technical issues.

Key role in coordinating with contractors, sub-contractors and all other services while execution.

Follow up with suppliers for material to be supplied at site on Scheduled time.

Supervise and coordinate to the Construction team for all the phase of work.

Ensuring optimal use of manpower and resources

Confirms all the operations are done in strict compliance with department safety rules and regulations, giving priority to safety and security.

Co-ordinate with subcontractors like INTERCOM, STRUCTURE CABLING- Telecommunication, SMATV, FIRE ALARM, FIRE FIGHTING, EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM, ACCESS CONTROL, CCTV, BMS, etc. to get the work done on time.

Complete all projects within schedules to ensure maximum client satisfaction.

Ensure that all MEP activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per drawings, method of statement, specification and work plan. To execute the works according to the latest approved revision of drawings and/or instructions of authorized authorities.

Attend Site Inspections (I.R), Material Inspections (M.I.R) with consultant to get the approval for work done and material delivered.

Key role in following up Local Authorities for Final Power, Water, Drainage & Telecom connections for the projects.

Completed Certificate Course in “Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Safety (EM-03)” from Advanced Training Institute, Govt. of India, Hyderabad.

Completed Training & Certification courses in Electrical Designing & Draughting with AutoCAD.
