Purpose of Role

Operation and maintenance of 132/33KV substation, preparation of maintenance schedule planning and executing projects to provide continues power supply to all plants. Roles and Responsibilities

Testing, Operation & Maintenance of power transformers and Distribution Transformers.

Maintenance of HT and LT Overhead lines.

Maintenance of battery charger, battery bank, ACDB & DCDB.

Laying, testing & maintenance of HT and LT Cables.

Hotspots rectification in substation (CT’s, PT.’s, bus bars, clamps and connectors…etc.).

Online energy monitoring system and shifting the loads from one PTR to another based on the load.

Operation and Maintenance of Milk Chilling Plant

Operation and Maintenance of DG sets.

Making machine breakdown reports and submitting it to higher authorities.

Preparation of preventive maintenance master schedules for electrical equipment’s

Ensuring the preventive and breakdown maintenance works to be complete within the stipulate time period and to avoid the power interruptions.

Periodical testing for substation equipments (Transformer, SF6 CBs, VCB s, C.T’s,P.T's, Isolators, Battery Bank and etc.) and generate the test reports as per standards.

Preparing the maintenance schedules with respective action plans to carry out the shut downs.

Substation indoor & outdoor equipment's critical spares planning and procurement.

Identify and follow up to concern department for required maintenance tools, measuring instruments and critical spares arranged to substation. Due to this to avoid the break down and maintenance activities time delay.

Continuous monitoring of substation electrical parameters (i.e. Energy, demand, voltage and power factor etc.) and major Equipments. based on criticality to take corrective, preventive and Predictive maintenance actions with in time period.

33/11KV Common Feeder & Boys hostel, Central Kitchen transformer yards’ maintenance.

Continuous monitoring the substation project contract manpower safety measures to avoid the accidents. Continuously provided safety guideline on safety to who are working in substation project area and maintained safety documentation as per EHT voltage standards.

Tree cutting under HT and LT overhead lines to avoid unscheduled breakdowns.

Shift wise all parameters monitoring and noted in respective formats and generate the daily report and send to concern deportment's and manpower management.

Substation manuals and documentation prepared ISO-9001, EMS-14001, OHSAS-18001 For substation during external/Internal Audit and certificate audit & Maintaining the registers as

per standards (DC charger and Battery bank, work permit, Earth pit, Scrap material, Daily log book, and Internal/External communication registers)

Identify the hotspots of 132KV & 33 KV clamps and connectors with thermal imager and rectify the same during planned shut downs.

Ensure safety measures while doing the maintenance activities and improvement projects at substation.

Identify and execution of 5S in substation control room and open switch yard

Continuously monitoring the project works and identified quality issues can be rectified during the progress of project work.

Preparation of preventive maintenance master schedules for electrical equipment’s.
