Reviewing and tracking proper implementation of company planned maintenance system & safety management system

Ascertaining all managed vessels adhere to compliance with classification, ISM, ISPS and statutory standards

Dry Docking & Major repairs

Coordinated for completion of all authorized work on a given ship during its tenure in the shipyard

Prepared repair specifications & liaised with classification society and the yard for the necessary certification & documents

Organized & delivered frequent conferences with shop personnel, ship personnel and other yard personnel to ensure the timely completion of all authorized work

Negotiated with the estimating department for the repair facility for final settlement of invoices

Developed initial repair specifications gathering information from various inspections, feedback from surveyor, master, crew & ultrasonic thickness gauging
