PROJECTS:

BTech Final year project: “Stair Climbing Trolley”

Description: The main aim of the project is to develop a 3 wheeled trolley with the ability to climb the stairs. By which it will be easy to carry out the load/goods to the other floors.

MTech Project: “Development of Laser Texture to increase the life of the single point cutting tool”

Description: In order to increase the productivity and the quality of the workpiece machined, it is very important to increase the overall tool life of the single point cutting tool. Out of many methods, creating a textured pattern using the laser over the rake face is proved to affect the cutting forces. Based on the specific pattern created it may increase/decrease the cutting force values. So, the main aim of the project is to try to improve the cutting tool life by reducing the cutting forces by optimizing the textured pattern created.

WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS:

1)Presented a conference paper titled “Development of positive laser textures on a cutting tool for its improved tool life” on COPEN 11 International conference held at IIT Indore.

2)Will be presenting a presentation titled “Influence of Continuous Laser-assisted Texturing on Cutting Forces of Single Point Cutting Tool” on 6TH ASIAN CONFERENCE HT&SE by ASM International Chennai Chapter.

3)Shortlisted & attended a short-term course “Orientation Course on Accelerator and Lasers” relates to Science and Technology at RRCAT, Department of Atomic Energy, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

4)Participated on “Virtual Baja 2016” conducted by SAE INDIA on 12 July 2015.

5)Attended a workshop on “I.C Engines” at TRYST-2015 IIT Delhi on 1st march 2015.

6)Presented a presentation on “Recent trends in Automobile Engineering” at Amity University.

7)Presented a presentation on “Marine & Agro pollution” in a seminar on “Environmental Pollution: A Global Concern” at Amity University on 20 March 2013.
