RESPONSIBILITIES FOR RF SPECTRUM MONITORING ENGINEER (CITC)
Monitoring & Testing of Emissions in the Frequency Range 9 kHz – 30 MHz (national & international long-range communication (such as broadcasting, aeronautical communication, amateur radio etc).
To perform Drive Test for both ideal and dedicated modes of GSM/WCDMA/LTE /WiMAX
/TETRA Services by using TEMS Investigation, Swissqual diversity Optimizer and Rhode
& Schwarz ROMES v.4.63.
Monitoring & Testing Of Emissions in The Frequency Range 30 MHz – 1 GHz (the Regular Monitoring Measurement of technical parameters of frequency, modulation depth, occupied RF bandwidth, Power flux density, offset, Emission type etc to ensure adherence to licensed technical parameters detection of illegal frequency usages with the help of Direction Finding Unit for resolution of interference as per ITU standard).
Spectrum is Monitored & Testing in the range 10 kHz – 40 GHz according to annual monitoring plan, audio & visual observation of the whole spectrum to detect the transmission of the unauthorized stations, also to detect out- of- band emissions which could cause the harmful interference to the authorized uses.
Coordination with officials of governmental, civil, private organizations, regarding interference complaints, MOI personnel for the confiscation of illegal transmitters.
Evaluation and analysis of reports on completion of frequency cycle (30 MHz – 1 GHz) and amend the schedules (if required) accordingly for smoothing monitoring activities.
Investigation of harmful interference cases filed by national assigned frequency users
(monitoring orders).
Investigation of harmful interference cases filed by international (other countries)
Identifying and locating the potential interferer inside the GSM, UMTS and WiMax bands.
Performing technical measurement on the sites particularly during Hajj period.
Other special assigned tasks, e.g noise level measurement,

Designing Radio Spectrum monitoring allocation plan in VHF/UHF ranges yearly, monthly & weekly, reporting the extracted results to the MMC.
Managing the RMS administration, dealing with accounts and providing all the petty cash adjustments required in the station and submit the report twice a month to account department in HQ.
Radio determination, Radiolocation with Radio Direction Finders of R&S PP 055 S (20- 1000) MHz
Monitoring of radio frequencies for Electronic Navigation.
Resource Management of North and South region of KSA, managing all Accounts issues and allocating the resources.
Frequency Allocation for Distress & Safety purposes in VLF, LF, MF, HF, VHF, UHF Frequencies reserved for distress communication to keep them free of interference as per ITU standard.
