-Study author and lead administrator was Marguerite Bender, DNP-FNP, University of South Alabama

-Instituted the intervention of verbal education on HPV vaccine to MinuteClinic parents and patients of appropriate age (9-26 years old) and gave them handouts on the vaccine

-Strongly recommended getting the vaccine immediately after educating the patient or parents (depending on age)

-Study showed 12 percent increased immunization rates after education
