JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall responsible for health and safety of the company workers assigned at different part of the project.
Conducting daily tool box talks with the assigned workers and their respective supervisor, foreman and their staff
Checking and verifying of various types of hot/cold work permits, confine space entry permits, lock out tag out (LOTO), open flame permits and excavation work permits issued by the company clients, re-validation and job safety analysis forms.
Investigating and preparing reports of any accident/incident, unsafe acts, near miss and submitting to senior or the safety department for further action.
Arrangements of proper safety boards, signage, posters, restricted areas items signage and barricades for excavation area.
Proper checking of firefighting equipment’s, housekeeping, colour codes of work tools, lifting and operating equipment.
Assisting police, fire marshals, safety and security officers in emergency situations like gas alarm and other accidents/incidents.
Taking parts in safety analysis and audits conducted by the clients and the company Safety Department.
Attending regularly safety/security meetings and various awareness program of the project.
