Senior Manager, Server Automation and Quality

Led Automation, QA & Performance teams for Samsung KNOX (Security Platform for BYOD devices), Samsung Pay (mobile wallet Solution), Samsung Health (Digital Health Service) and Samsung Experimentation Platform (AB testing of Mobile Apps). Joined Samsung as Lead QA Engineer and built QA and automation teams in the US and in India consisting of over 30 engineers.

●Automation:

Led the automation of RESTful API Server testing using ReadyAPI and JMeter, hosted on Amazon AWS. Automated 5000+ test cases for 500+ APIs, achieving 100% automation.

Guided the team to automate Health and Experimentation Platform’s Client testing using Appium and Selenium, achieving 50% automation.

Facilitated the automation of test results upload to TestRail eliminating daily manual effort of approximately 1.5 hour/day.

●QA:

Managed multiple simultaneous product releases. Defined the overall testing strategy and processes for new features and Regression QA. Developed Release Criteria for QA signoff.

Instituted security testing (SQL Injection, Cross Site Scripting, Sensitive Data Exposure) for all products using ReadyAPI, to supplement the tests by the lab security team. Identified several escaped critical security bugs.

Undertook the CCPA compliance verification project for Samsung Pay.

Led the development and execution of Performance tests using Loadrunner and JMeter. Achieved and maintained zero escaped performance issues in production.
