I wish to be considered for the position of “Quality Editor” at Bleacher Report. I am a recent graduate of Trinity College (CT), who majored in history. I believe I have the drive, skills/acumen, and temperament to successfully serve in this type of role. My prior work experiences and involvements make me adept at relating to people of all different ages and interests. I have worked in job settings such as schools, restaurant kitchens, and student summer camps. Within all of these work environments, I have worked alongside teachers, receptionists, and restaurant kitchen staff. Most recently, as an employee for Trinity College, my duties as a residential assistant had included maintaining healthy and safe living conditions, while also providing support to prospective students through moral guidance and programming. Having been a former collegiate athlete at my prior school, Wheaton College MA, and focusing on my academic classes at Trinity, make me a person capable of understanding the challenges and enjoyments that come out of a high-stress environment. Since graduating from Trinity College this past May, I have utilized my time by studying for the LSAT exam, working part-time at a nearby bagel shop, and applying to jobs that present themselves with an intellectual capacity where I feel pushed. My preparation for the LSAT exam stems from my interest in research, writing, and analyzing information, yet perhaps my largest interest comes from the law school reputation of difficulty and competition. These traits seem to be embodied within the culture and reputation at Bleacher Report and would be a company where I could see myself grow and adapt with or without law school in the future. I am quite driven, display a positive attitude, and am always open to face new challenges.
