Objective

Experience

Detailer, BlueScope Construction June 2019- Jan 2020

Primary responsibility was as a detailer with the Conventional Steel Structures group. In this position I checked the design of buildings to ensure parts, pieces and accessories are accurate in placement, quantity and part selection. I would make changes within the company’s unique software programs, Vision and Building Editor, as well as exporting to AutoCAD for more efficient editing and correction of building layouts.

AutoCAD Technician, Central Process Engineering Oct 2017- May 2019

I was the primary AutoCAD Technician for the Kansas City office. I was responsible for the design, upgrade, and revision of PLC systems for a wide range of clients including Ford, GM and Whirlpool. I was also responsible for going on site to follow up with the Electricians to ensure that the system was built to design and that any changes made were included within the final design prints. I also assisted in the build and troubleshooting of PLC systems as necessary.

AutoCAD Technician, Ford Motor Company May 2017- Oct 2017

I was contracted through Aerotek to work with Ford Motor Company at the Claycomo site to assist with the Transit Van side of the plant with their rebalance. I updated their existing floor plans to be accurate and up to date and then created a second set of prints with the proposed changes. I would also assist the Industrial Engineers with their planning of proposed changes to ensure that what was being presented was possible and could be achieved.

AutoCAD Technician, Indicon Oct 2016- Apr 2017

I was contracted through Aerotek to work with Indicon. I created, designed and modified existing PLC designs. I worked primarily on the Chrysler plant in Illinois. I maintained all of the electrical schematics and made changes and revisions as directed by the lead engineers.

AutoCAD Technician, R Systems Dec 2015- May 2016

I maintained, revised and designed PLC Systems for various clients. When I wasn’t working on the designs I would work in the shop and assist in the build and construction of the PLC Systems.

Aviation Electronics Technician (AT3), United States Navy Aug 2006= Aug 2010

I Served with Strike Fighter Squadron VFA-103 on the F/A-18F Super Hornets. I served two tours to the Middle East and one trip around South America for Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). In that time I served as a Shop Supervisor for the Line Division ensuring the safety and inspections of all aircraft. I was responsible for training and signing off on the qualifications of over 30 airmen to become Plane Captains. I also worked within the AT shop with my primary responsibilities being the troubleshooting of the weapon systems, inspection of the aircraft, and repair/replacement of electronic components as necessary.
