RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:

Education: Enrollment and Expenditure in India, Industrial Organization and Public Policy (Jan 2020-May 2020) Researched government sites and identified 11 data sheets and reports on enrollment rates for females and males in different states in India and expenditure on education over an 11-year period (2000-2010). Analyzed data and presented information in a tables and graphs in a final paper. Name, Identity and Perception of the World, Qualitative Research Lab (Jan 2020-May 2020) Identified 12 current research studies on the impact of names on the individuals’ lives. Completed IRB documents, consent forms and co-designed the interview questions and qualitative study with two peers to understand the impact an individual’s name has on their personality, identity and perception of the world. Recruited participants using the phenomenological method and conducted one-on-one interviews. Analyzed the data and presented the findings in the academic festival at Wheaton College. Independent Study, Business and Psychology (Aug 2019- Dec 2019) Devised a multidisciplinary academic research on Attribution Theory and Work-Family conflicts Conducted extensive literature reviews of 20 sources and evaluated research on attribution theory and work-family conflict. Met bi-weekly with two professors to review, brainstorm and identify areas of interest for future research. Created and maintained summary of all literature reviews to be used in the research.
