I a retired from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, OH

after 23 years as a Systems Analyst Programmer,

Computer and Internal Auditor (Retired CISA &CIA),

Computer Programming Systems Disaster Recovery Coordinator.

I interacted with senior management, managers and employees at all levels determining their application system’s requirements and as a Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer for the Credit Group I managed and coordinated the programming department’s disaster recovery planning and testing.

I have also continued to do income tax preparation for several family and friends and have kept my CPA current and active doing CPE hours through Sequoia CPE.

Since I retired I have volunteered at the Cincinnati Museum Center as a docent and home schooled my grandkids in the zoos, museums and aquarium in Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus and Newport and taught them how to swim at the YMCA.

Managed and coordinated the programming department’s disaster recovery planning and testing.

Created a COBOL AI online program to compute the capital requirements for the FHLBANK computing how much stock and collateral a member bank had to buy and pledge when they requested a loan from the FHLBANK so that our bank would remain in capital compliance required by the Federal Home Loan Bank Board in Washington, DC. The procedures were analyzed and approved by senior management, our external law firm, our CPA’s and the Washington Bank Board.

Perform developmental software changes for Advances/Housing Loans, Capital Plan/Capital Stock, Mortgage Collateral, Deposits, Pledges and Safekeeping computer systems.

Make Visual Basic maintenance changes to the Collateral Blanket and Securites xls spreadsheet

Converted Financial Analysis programs from AS400 to Unisys NX Clearpath using Cobol 85

Participated in interactive classes on Access and basic SQL and Clearpath systems

Converted programs from the Unisys V series Cobol 74 to Unisys NX Clearpath (Windows Compatible System) using Cobol 85.

Made necessary Year 2000 changes, developed and ran Year 2000 tests for several deposit systems.

While starting as a programmer/analyst I progressed to project manager for the deposits and loan group after a year and then became the banks computer auditor for 8 years being certified as a Certified Information Systems Auditor Jan 23, 1985, as a Certified Internal Auditor Feb 15, 1987 and completed my Bachelors Degree at Thomas More College May 12, 1985.
