RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate Research Assistant August 2019 – May 2020
·Research Foucs: To quantify the optoelectronic properties of the hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites (HOIPs) and demonstrate the advantages of using HOIPs in optoelectronic devices such as solar cells, lasers, and diodes.
·Research Applications: The results from this project will be used to produce thin-film perovskite solar cells with greater solar-to-electricity conversion rates, better control of energy output, and higher currents. Our vision is to produce solar power with much higher efficiency.
·Responsibilities: Analyze perovskite samples through nonlinear spectroscopy, record optical parametric amplification and two-photon absorption spectra, calibrate laser intensity and frequency. Prepare polymer films via spin-coating PMMA onto glass substrate.
