JOBS DUTIES AT USA, INC.

Shipping Coordinator/Other - Tracked all stock, identify purchased material related to heat and mill numbers, material take-offs, inventory control, material usage, production control, issue details/revisions to department heads, track componate & supply orders thru the shop, coordinate shipping to the job sites. Assign jobs into weekly loading schedules, contact customers to set up on-site dates, assign carriers for material deliveries to job sites, track and keep carrier certificates, negociate rates, handle back-up changes & damages, review and approve invoices.

Safety Coordinator – Maintain U.S.A. safety program, conduct all safety related training, held monthly safety training meeting with specific safety training on: forklift, haz-com (hazardous communication, etc)., conduct safety audits, job specific task analysis, over-see equipment safety, inspections of chain slings, cranes, hand tools and equipment guarding, general housekeeping inspections, audit and approve of personal protective equipment usage and purchases. Investigate all work related incidents, conduct post incident reviews and assure corrective actions were effective, administer 1st aid, evaluate injured employee, coordinate medical treatment, follow-up treatment and coordinate Workers Compensation, work with workers comp carrier, track all workers comp paperwork, workers comp audits, workers comp reviews, coordinate workers comp trends and services, coordinate industrial hygene and health reviews, audiograms, pulmonary function tests, weld fume surveys, coordinate and review medical services, company doctor, physical exams, receive employee drug test results and act accordingly as per company drug policy outline.

Employee Relations – Assist with pre-employment evaulations, schedule employee physicals as required by position, review and clear for duty, conduct pre-employment orientation & safety orientation, assist with hourly employee annual reviews, track & confirm hourly employee time sheets & time/attendance, assist employees with insurance questions and paperwork, maintain company uniform program, uniform contracts, weekly invoices and uniform usage issues.
