I worked as a part of conversion team. I was part of the team responsible for analysing the scope and converting the data from peoplesoft 8.0 to 9.2. Worked on writing conversion programs for bringing in bulk data using CI, parallel processing, etc. I was also involved in co-ordination with various other teams to check if the data converted is accurate and fixing the related changes.

Description

The project was regarding the people tools upgrade to a newer version and application of PUM image and update of database version from 11g to 12c. This included a complete and thorough study of the pre and post compare reports to find out the impacted objects and to modify the customizations accordingly. It also involved the analysis of SYS and DDD audit reports to find out the differences between the database and application designer tables.

Description

This project involved customization of the existing process where the address of vendors from the HR systems are uploaded in the finance systems. In order to suit the business requirement, the existing application engine was modified keeping in mind that the process runs uninterrupted successfully. The project also included creation of shell scripts in order to remove any special characters received in the address file.
