Configuring Alerts for various backup failures and working with monitoring team to generate tickets for same.

Responsible for Monitoring, Controlling and Performing all scheduled Activities on backup Servers.

Handling issues collaboratively with other teams.

Scheduling and monitoring backups through TWS.

Disk based backup management.

Configuring and managing the library. Maintaining scratch volumes, Labeling, check -in, check-out, drive availability and setting paths.

Working with Onsite team and vendors for hardware issues in tape libraries.

Checking Activity log and Event logs for any hardware or application related issues.

Audit & restore volumes for restoration. Auditing the library for any mismatches found in the TSM inventory and library inventory.

Defining scripts using SQL statements for daily reports and working on as per priority.

Resolving issues based on priority and sending optional reports and documentations.

Halt and Restart the TSM Server in case of any activities.

Performing the daily heath check for the TSM servers.

Checking activity log for any HARDWARE or Application related errors.
