PROJECT:

Title : Compact High Isolation MIMO antenna for UWB application Duration : 6 Months Tool used : Advanced Design System Description : Design of high isolation MIMO antenna for UWB application. The isolation is increased by implementation of the of decoupling structures like ring slot and F shaped stub in the ground plane. The designed antenna covers 3.1 to 10.6GHz bandwidth with return loss of S11/S22 < -10 dB and insertion loss of S21/S12 < -20 dB. The major improvement in the return loss in UWB band is accomplished by the insertion of Mirrored F shaped stub. MINI PROJECT [1]:

Title : Identification of round objects using boundary tracing Duration : 4 weeks Software used: MATLAB

Description : This project is about classifying objects based on their roundness using boundary tracing routine. The input RGB image is converted to binary image in which the boundaries of the objects are traced and their properties are found. Using the properties and some metrics, the roundness of objects are found and thus round objects are classified. Here the above mentioned operations are performed using MATLAB software. MINI PROJECT [2]:

Title : Design and Analysis of Microstrip Patch Antenna for Bluetooth Application. Duration : 2 weeks Tool used: Advanced Design System Description : The design and analysis of a small size, low profile, inexpensive and high gain microstrip patch antenna. The designed antenna has operating frequency of 2.45 GHz which is useful in WLAN or Bluetooth applications. This antenna is directly feed by 50Ω coaxial connector. The various antenna parameters such as radiation pattern, standing wave ratio (SWR) were analysed. The designed antenna shows high peak gain of about 9.79 dBi and return loss is about -27.318 dB.
